Re: Liquid Nails

Hi Dimple,

I can only respond to what Gorilla Glue is.  Gorilla Glue is a moisture activated, foaming and expanding polyurethane glue.  Whenever you use Gorilla Glue, you must dampen one surface with water, apply the Gorilla Glue to the other surface and then clamp your surfaces together tightly for at least 2 hours to be 80% cured; 24 hours to be 100% cured.  The Gorilla Glue will react to the moisture and it will foam and expand 3 to 4 times the amount applied.  Since your surfaces are clamped together tightly and the glue expands, it is forced into the pores of the substrates being glued together.  This is what makes the bond so strong.  It is 100% waterproof when cured.

I hope this information is helpful.
