Wood Glue same as "PVA Bookbinding Glue"?

According to my google searches "How to Repair Bookbinding".... I need to use PVA Glue.   Your Wood Glue is apparently PVA... is this the same as PVA Bookbinding Glue?

thanks

Re: Wood Glue same as "PVA Bookbinding Glue"?

For book binding, PVA's are usually a bit fexibile and also neutral pH (not acidic).  Ours is formulated for wood so it is a bit stiffer and also it is acidic (pH 3).  So I think ours could be used in a pinch, however, it wouldn't be the ideal book binding PVA glue - there are a lot there are sold exclusively for this purpose.
