Not Exactly a Tire Patch…

I love to ride my motorcycle, so at the end of August my friends and I went for a ride to New Mexico and back. My rear tire was slightly worn, but not enough to replace it, or so I thought... I was sure I would be safe and left for the trip, but after 700+ miles the tire was completely worn out with steel belt showing.  My buddies advised me to stop and get help. I thought about it, but decided to try something else. I was able to make to a hardware store where I got armed with a roll of Gorilla tape and a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Having cleaned the tire of dirt I applied two layers of the tape along the circumference. I knew it sounded crazy but I tried it. After few miles I pulled over to check on it. The patch looked good and fresh. I kept the speed under 55mph. Over the Monarch pass it rained, so I kept my speed lower, but later I did accelerate to over 60 mph which caused the tape to partially melt. I had not much choice, could not get help anymore. And it worked. Thank you, guys, for the great product. I was able to ride for about 175 miles on two layers of tape!!! Thanks, Danil

Gorilla Helps Build Cardboard Boats
I would just like to tell you that I have been using Gorilla Tape for 2 years on my Cardboard boats, and have came in first place for the last 2 years.3 years ago, I used regular duct tape, and my boat fell apart inside of 2 minutes. I am 13 years old, and am constructing a boat that will cross a lake in the summer of 2010. Ripleys believe it or not is following my story right now. I fully intend on using Gorilla tape to hold my boat together! Thank you, Cameron

Holy Cow!
My latest gluing project was a small china salt shaker in the shape of a cow. My wife loves the set and there was a small accident and the cow's tail and part of the bottom broke. I bought a bottle of Gorilla Super Glue (regular Gorilla Glue is my favorite) but I thought 'Super Glue, Impact Tough' best for this project and am I glad I used it. This glue is miraculous! Instant hold, perfect seal, no overflow, an amazing product, well done, I'm hugely impressed. New tool in my arsenal for fix-ups!! Thanks, DS, New York.

Gorilla Glue and RC Planes
My friend & I are Park Flyer Pilots (RC Airplanes that are made of Styrofoam). We have had several crashes, but we have gotten back in the air in very short time, thanks to Gorilla Glue. This Glue is an absolute must for RC Pilots. Thanks, Calvin

Crawfish in the Pot!

After a long week of work, my buddies and I decided to boil some good ole' crawfish (as we say in the South). So we put them in the pot and started boiling. Bourdreaux, our neighbour, brought over his paddle that his 'paw paw' gave him years and years ago. So I raised the pot lid and Bourdeaux went to string them things up with his paddle. Suddenly, the paddle went snap - his old cyprus paddle just broke in half. Bourdreaux was surely upset and wasn't sure what to do. So I ran to my trusty 'first aid kit' and grabbed 'The Gorilla' as I call it. I slapped some on that old paddle while Bourdeaux took his nap and tried to block out the tragedy that had just happened. As the crawfish were done and we progressed to eating, I woke Bourdreaux up and said 'man, you gonna stir them things?'. Boy, how his eyes lit up as he noticed his paddle was still in one piece. He stated, 'man, that was the worst dream'. And til this day he doesn't have a clue about the truth!

Thanks Gorilla for saving our Bourdeaux! As we say in South Lousiana, 'u know Lorie Jr?'. Deannie M.

Tough Challenge for a Tough Woman!

My husband calls me one tough woman, but when it comes to construction we both agree that I am a bit of a wimp. Sure...I can do an art project with the best of them. Give me a home improvement task or have me actually build something and I am at a loss. That is why I decided to prove to the both of us that I really can do something 'constructive'. I decided to start by putting decorative wooden moulding around the doorways in my house. For my Tough Challenge, and since I am such a tough girl, I needed a tough glue. I did not want to use nails as they would spoil the look, and besides I am horrible when it comes to nailing anything!

I was surprised to find that the store that I went to not only had my familiar Gorilla Glue but they also had Gorilla Wood Glue, Epoxy, and Super Glue. I bought all four of the Gorilla types. I actually sanded down the framework and stained them! They looked surprisingly beautiful. When applying them around the doorways I found that the Wood Glue and the Epoxy worked the best. The wooden framing stuck and stayed! I was able to finish seven doorways on both sides! I got a nod of approval from the hubby and new found confidence in myself! I might even help out in building the deck that my husband is working on. Thanks to your Glue as my secret weapon I can hang with the Big Dogs...or should I say, the Big Gorillas! Debbie C.

Bad News for a Teenager!

Picture this, a normally lovely teenager gets some news, and in his mind, it's bad news. This news makes him angry. But since he is a nice guy when he expodes he knocks over his great grandma's vintage rocker. Oops. The arm of the rocker comes off. "Luckily" it was put together with pegs. So a little Gorilla Glue in the holes and on the pegs and the chair is as new. Susie L.

Firebird!

I have a vintage 1970 Firebird Formula, and while I was driving her to a car show, the rear view mirror fell off the windshield! I had to do some quick thinking, so I used my iphone's GPS to find the closest hardware store to do some quick repairs. I bought Gorilla Super Glue, applied it to my mirror bracket, and fixed it in time to register my Z-28. Six hours later I won for Best in Class: Vintage Muscle Car!!!! Life is great! Thanks Gorilla! You rock! Jerry C.
