What surfaces can the tape be applied to?

Gorilla Anti-Slip Tread Tape is perfect for ladders, steps, ramps, boats, RVs, decks, and more! Typical surfaces are sealed wood, composite decking, metal (steel/aluminum), and sealed concrete.

Do you need to use a primer before applying?

Many applications require only a clean dry surface. Unsealed concrete and bare wood surfaces will have to be painted, stained, or sealed to ensure they don’t allow unwanted moisture to contact the adhesive for extended periods of time. Follow all manufacturer’s directions for paints, stains, or sealers to ensure the surface is ready prior to application of Gorilla Anti-Slip Tread Tape.

How do I apply Gorilla Anti-Slip Tread Tape?

Surfaces must be flat, dry and free of dirt, grease, and oil. Clean using isopropyl alcohol. Dry thoroughly. Cut tape to desired length and round corners. Remove liner and apply to surface starting at the center and moving toward the edges.

How do I remove Gorilla Anti-Slip Tread Tape from my surface?

Slowly peel Gorilla Anti-Slip Tread Tape from one edge or corner. Peel or scrape remaining adhesive on the surface and apply an adhesive remover to lift any remnants. Thoroughly clean surface of any remaining adhesive before installing fresh Gorilla Anti-Slip Tread Tape.
